vendors and their customers in such a way that both can increase efficiency, reduce overheads, simplify operations, and for solid, permanent relationships with each other.

We recognize that our members and the vendors have complementary needs: To have access to supplies and service at low, fixed, predictable prices on one side, and to have less profitable but consistent purchases on the other. To achieve these goals, all parties have to commit themselves to our mutually supportive program.

In order to achieve this we have a 'single vendor' policy, having only one vendor in any product category. Each vendor has a full commitment from us for its full product line and marketing program. An element of that loyalty is that our members agree to purchase a minimum of 80% (by dollar volume) of their monthly supplies from the vendors they've chosen. And the vendors have agreed to much lower profit margins.

As a result the collective group of Anthony Owen Company members represent a significant negotiating power, resulting in greater savings for each individual member.
